Telship-H Tablets: Telmisartan & Hydrochlorothiazide for Hypertension Management

Telship-H Tablet is a combination prescription medication used primarily for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). This packaging contains 10 strips of 15 tablets (10×15).

The tablets combine two different classes of active ingredients for enhanced blood pressure control:

• Telmisartan (Micronized): This is an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the effects of a substance that tightens blood vessels, allowing them to relax and widen. This lowers blood pressure and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood.
• Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ): This is a Diuretic (often called a “water pill”). It increases the frequency of urination, which helps the body get rid of excess water and salt. This reduction in fluid volume also helps to lower blood pressure.

Telship-H provides a synergistic effect, offering more effective and sustained blood pressure reduction than either component used alone.
